How can I tell if I need a new roof?

While a leaking roof is a nuissance it is not necessarily a sign of needing a full roof replacement. You will require a new roof when materials have degraded beyond being repairable. Most types of asphalt roofing whether on a pitched roof or flat will start to crack, buckle and lose their granulated surface. Asphalt roofs have an average lifespan of 17 years. A cedar shake roof will become dry and brittle, shakes will split and buckle. A properly installed cedar shake roof should last around 40 years!. A metal roof will become thin and in certain cases rusted, if you notice your metal roof starting to rust give us a call! We can reverse the rusting process and coat your roof with a coating specific to your requirements. Protecting it for life! Slate roofs are extremly durable and have lasted over 200 years in some cases, they can be repaired over and over again but like everything they do eventually become too brittle to repair. How much does a new roof cost?

Roofing costs vary widely depending on type of structure and materials used. However you can rest assured we operate with optimal effeciency and provide the right amount of technicians to complete your project in a timely manner!

Will my property be damaged during installation?

Re-roofing is our speciality! We methodically remove your existing roof and dispose of it into our trailers. We take care to tarp your property and protect anything from being damaged. We do a thourough clean up using magnets, leaf blowers, brooms and people picking up debris. We typically try to leave your property in better condition then when we arrived!

What happens if I have a problem with my new roof?

We are highly trained and certified to install most major brands of roofing materials. We offer some of the best warranties in the industry. We're so confident we can offer full material warranties (up to 50 years) as well as a 10 year workmanship warranty. Most roofing problems will arise within the first five years of ownership so this covers your for that period and beyond. If you have any problems call us for service and we'll send someone out to help!

How long can I expect my new roof to last?

Most newer roof systems are designed to provide useful service for about 20 years. Certain roof system types, such as slate, and certain metals (e.g., copper) systems, can last longer. Actual roof system life span is determined by a number of factors, including local climatic and environmental conditions, proper building and roof system design, material quality and suitability, proper application and adequate roof maintenance. Roofing product manufacturers offer a variety of warranties on their products. Take a close look at those warranties to see what responsibilities and financial obligations manufacturers will assume if their products fail to reach their expected lives.

Where do you dispose of the debris?

You can rest assured we take every precaution to be as environmentally responsible as possible. We haul all debris away to a government approved recycling facility where your old roof gets recycled and made into other products!

If you find other problems during installation what happens?

We have many years experience in diagnosing complex roof issues, we can typically find most problems during initial inspection, however unexpected issues can arise. In the even that an unforseen problem arises we will notify you imediatley and make suitable arrangements with both parties to deal with it.
